Cumbre del Sol is a mountain between the towns of Moraira and Javea, which offers properties with fantastic sea views at prices a lot less than the towns either side. There are two access roads to Cumbre del Sol, the north road from the town of Benitachell and the south road from the town of Moraira, there are local facilities which include a supermarket, cafe, restaurant, chemists, hairdressers and a bar, for further amenities there us a choice of either a five minute drive to the town Benitachell or a ten minute drive to Moraira. Also on Cumbre del Sol is the Laude Lady Elizabeth junior international school where they are prepared for the senior school which is located in Lliber.
Cala Moraig is the local beach, a sheltered beach at the bottom of a hill which has a restaurant [chiringuito] during the summer months, the sandy beaches of Moraira and Javea are only a short drive away. There is also a large green zone, the natural park of Granadella, which is ideal for cyclists, walkers and dog walkers, stronger walkers can walk to one of the beaches in Javea.
One development company originally bought Cumbre del Sol and has built the majority of the properties, here you will find a mixture of apartments, townhouses, villas and luxury villas spread over an area of 3,700,000 m2. The older properties tend to be located in the northern zones, more recently the construction has been concentrated on the south side, closer to Moraira.
It is well worth the trip to the very top of Cumbre del Sol where you can enjoy breathtaking views from Moraira to Benidorm on the south side or from Javea to Denia on the north side, there are also wonderful views over the towns of Teulada and Benissa to the Sierra Bernia mountain range. The developments Pueblo Panorama and Vistamar are located near the summit and offer fantastic sea views, the developments are made up of two bedroom apartments, two bedroom penthouse apartments and three bedroom duplex apartments, and they all have use of the eight communal infinity pools which also enjoy the views.
